At Grove Street, our client engaged us for the second time, this time to pull together the interior design package for their new home renovation, set within this stunning 1900s bungalow. Working within the footprint of the new addition designed by Michael Fogarty Building Design, the Mosmo team meticulously planned the flow of the internal spaces, ensuring the kitchen has a meaningful connection to the living and dining area that overlooks the stunning landscape and pool area (currently under construction). We intentionally designed the kitchen island and integrated high bench with the indoor-outdoor connection in mind, to maximise the views from wherever you’re seated.

Combining high impact stone features with natural timber veneer and a neutral colour palette, this home has a warm and welcoming feel. The refined detailing really pulls this space together, showcased in the bespoke joinery, tailored to suit our client's tastes and lifestyle. This room receives plenty of natural light throughout the day, complemented by a sophisticated selection of architectural lights. The lighting plan was curated to suit how our client uses their space - from cooking, entertaining, hanging out with the grandkids, or simply just relaxing.

Furnishing the new kitchen, dining and living areas was a critical part of the design and renovation process for our client. They wanted a space that had been holistically considered, enabling them to move straight in after handover without having to worry about making any decisions around custom window treatments, furniture or artwork. The Mosmo team curated artwork and furniture pieces that added to the warm and welcoming feel through different textures, colours and materials. The selection of a sheer fabric for the recessed curtains helps to soften the space and finishing it off nicely by filtering the natural light.
